“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
-George Bernard Shaw
I used to think I needed to “find” my motivation.
Find my discipline.
Find the version of me that had it all together.
Turns out…that person doesn’t just show up...
I think a lot of people get stuck waiting to "find" the version of themselves who has it all together...
The disciplined one.
The motivated one.
The one who wakes up early, hits every workout, eats right, stays consistent…like that person is just out there somewhere waiting to be discovered.
They're not.
You don’t find yourself.
You have to create yourself or settle for whatever life turns you into...
That’s what 75 Hard is all about...when you don't feel ready, don't have the motivation, even when it's inconvenient, the commitment to the challenge pushes you to just do the things...
Every. Single. Day.
And some days, it’s not hard because the tasks are extreme…
it’s hard because you don’t feel like doing them, you're not in the mood, you're tired, you're hungry, stressed...
But every time you follow through when you don’t feel like it, you’re taking another step toward the person you’re becoming...
Not the one you hope to be, but the one you’re actively becoming.
This challenge is meant to build someone who sticks to the commitments they've made to themselves, doesn’t just skip the workout because they're tired or busy, follows through even when no one’s watching, and treats discipline like a non-negotiable.
That version of you doesn’t always show up all at once. That person is built in the small, boring, repetitive decisions made day after day.
That’s where this is won.
It's not in some big, dramatic moment.
It's in the little moments and the daily decision to show up one day at a time.
